We do raid 3 nights a week for 25 man content and do 10 mans on off nights. Our raid schedule does tend to attract older players and allows for weekends to be free. In our 3 days a week we accomplish equal or more than most 4+ day raiding guilds. We have a good name on this realm, and we plan to keep it that way. If you are a negative player, carry a big ego, or have negative baggage attached to you look elsewhere. If you are sensitive or drama prone this is not the guild for you and good luck in your search. We are only accepting applications from the following classes listed below (your main, not an alt): DPS Paladin - Retribution - 1 Hunter - 2 Requirements: - Full knowledge of the class you are applying for - Knowledge of most encounters in an instance before coming to the raid. - Gear consistent with top tiered content (proper gear/gem/enchant choices). - Min Max mentality. - Common sense - A stable connection & computer - Ventrilo and a working mic (You MUST be able to communicate in a raid) - Ability to be critiqued, sometimes harshly. - Willingness to help the guild (farming etc.) - Do everything you can to gear yourself up outside of raids - Must spend time becoming familiar with encounters outside of raids - A sense of humor (being sensitive to foul language/jokes, means we likely aren't for you). - Because we raid for little time per week You must be on, prepared, and as min max as possible. We raid Tuesday (7CST), Thursday (7CST), and Monday (7CST). Raids are generally 3 to 3 1/2 hours long. *Note that these raids need to start at 7. This does mean you are in the instance ready to go at 7 CST, not on the way from Dalaran once you get flasks from the AH. Our goal as a guild is not just to defeat every encounter in WotLK but to also push ourselves to defeat the challenging raid achievements and hard modes. We want motivated individuals who want to be part of that. If you are interested in becoming a member of CT please copy the application below and begin a new thread with your character name. This application and your armory is all we have to establish if you would be a good fit for our guild. If you do not feel like putting time into your application, then why should we as a guild put time into you? We do understand this application is a bit long but in our point of view if you can not handle a simple application you wont be handle current content. Any application attached to this thread will not be considered and will be deleted. *Character Name: *Race: *Class: *Time zone: *Please link your wow armory here: *Real Life Age: *We Raid Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 7 Server to 1030 PM server. Are you able to make those days for 25 mans? *Last guild, and reason for leaving. *When did you start WoW? *Raid experience you have (please list anything from Vanilla til now): *Current spec/Off spec: *We are recruiting you because you are a good player with skill not your specific class. Are you willing to re-spec for raids? *Are you willing to sit for a boss or a raid? *Please explain your talent build, glyph and gem choices (you do not need to be super detailed but give us an idea of what you wanted to accomplish). *What is your rotation? *What do you use to be prepared for a raid (flasks/pots/websites visited, etc)? *Do you have Vent? Do you have a mic? *Do you follow directions? *What strengths and weaknesses do you bring to a raid (not your class)? *Do you have any issues what so ever with sacrificing your dps/healing/etc in order to better the raid for an encounter? *Are you open to criticism (constructive)? Do you have an issue with being held accountable for doing things poorly? *Please post a screen shot of your UI. Take a screen shot in wow. Then go to your wow folder open up screen shot folder. Upload it to a site for free uploads. Link that picture here. *Please now tell us what mods you use *specifically for raiding* and why. *Rate your skill level 1 being terrible 10 being the baby Jesus of wow. Not your experience but your actual skill level. Be blunt and honest about it. *Please post a link of a WOW Meter parse (the more you can include the better). To do this you either have to get it from your previous guild, or you need to create one yourself in the next raid you’re in. *When the shit hits the fan in a raid, How do you figure out what you can do better (any tools or information you use is great) ? *Why do you want to join CT? *What do you want to get out of raiding with CT? *What do you think the hardest part of PVE raiding is? *Please tell CT why we should recruit you. *Would you mind if I asked your current guild about you? *Do you have any near future commitments that would limit your availability for raids? *Feel Free to add additional comments here: There will be a recruitment period of about 2 weeks (officers discretion), but the amount of time will vary by recruit and how active you are. During this time your performance will be under the scrutiny of the entire guild. After the recruitment period, a general vote is taken on the application by the members, which will determine your placement or removal from the guild. CT is a loot council guild. Applicants will only be considered for loot of no member in the raid needs the item as a main spec upgrade. Again, if you didn't read this already: If you are easily offended by vulgar language, and generally sick and depraved subjects of discussion, this guild is not for you. If you have any questions, feel free to speak with an officer in game. [ Edited Thu Apr 01 2010, 08:44pm ] SCRAG IS ORRIBLE | ||
