I like simple pleasures, like butter in my ass, lollipops in my mouth. That's just me. That's just something that I enjoy.

So it's been a little while since the last update. I was even sending myself pm's on the site wondering where the hell the latest update was. But at least I can throw in some Christmas references that will be horribly out of date by the next update. It used to be that you knew it was Christmas when you started to see lights and holiday decorations. But it seems now adays that just signals that it will soon be Halloween. What really signals that Christmas is just around the corner is the annual mall Santa groping stories. I'm pretty sure a few people in the guild moonlight as mall Santa's just so they can get women to sit on their laps. That isn't a candy cane in Santa's pocket.

Since the last update we not only cleared all of BC but we've also been blowing through WotLK 10 & 25 man content. If you wanna join the fun we are recruiting.

We did have a sendoff of sorts for the Burning Crusade. We decided to organize a multiguild event to raid the Alliance cities. We spent a few days organizing it and ended up having 3 full raids. That's right 120+ horde showed up for what was the largest city raid in the history of the server. But it seems even though their is an achievement for killing city leaders Blizzard doesn't have the servers setup to handle those sorts of numbers and we ended up crashing all of Ironforge multiple times. That's one way to bring down a city.

With the release of the Wrath of the Lich King expansion came the semi annual nerd pilgrimage to Gamestop to line up at midnight. As much as I enjoyed standing in line with 300+ people at midnight in shorts and flip flops in freezing weather for 2 hours Blizzard needs to allow you to download the expansion right away. Everquest did that almost a decade ago.

Blizzard does need to be commended for what I think are the best looking zones they have ever done. The outdoor zones and quests are nothing short of amazing. Everything about the expansion looks and feels epic. WotLK is a HUGE improvement over BC and I for one am having lots of fun. It was actually exciting to do all the quests in each zone. The 5 mans while short do look really nice and I for one like that they are quick. It allows you to easily do a few instances with the same group.

While the raiding content so far has been pretty simple, the quality of WotLK makes me think that the future raid zones are going to be very good. Let's be honest Naxxramas is a measure of who could get 25 people to 80 first. But I'm looking forward to conquering encounters like 3 drakes up with Sartharion. I think the idea of an encounter letting you choose the difficulty and being rewarded for it is great. That should also really cut down on nerfing encounters as time passes. Overall the expansion gets two big thumbs up from me so far.

Bi-Sexual, Not That There's Anything Wrong With That

Expansions bring a certain amount of drama. I've been through it with multiple expansions in multiple games. People don't like uncertainty and there certainly is a lot of that in an expansion. People come back to play, people stop playing, people leave, people switch mains. While I will miss 36% attendance Sunwell stoners like matchbook some things can be explained in a simpler way. Sexual harassment is no laughing matter. If you're bi-sexual that's fine but don't get angry and leave because your sexual advances weren't reciprocated in kind. I know it's tough in the Mexican culture to be gay or bi-sexual. I genuinely hope you can find a man that will love you for who you are Alphaqup. But the constant sexual advances and propositions were really getting out of hand. I'm taken by a really great girl and when that finally sunk in you left. I hope you can find a man that can be your gladiator.

CT will keep chugging along. We've been on Malfurion for almost 3 years now. CT has been around in Everuest since 1999. People come, people go. Frankly I would encourage other guilds to try and recruit from us. Every person that's left in the end I've been happy about. It's made us stronger. There's a long list of guilds just on this server that have ceased to exist since we've been around (or broke up and reformed multiple times). The strength of this guild isn't a single person. CT is about a team of individuals coming together to have fun and kick some ass. We did that in Burning Crusade. I couldn't be happier with the effort people in this guild put forth through good times and bad. The measure of an individual is how they get through the tough times. As a guild and a team we conquered it all through good and bad. I think the experiences are only going to get better as we plow through WotLK.

Karaoke Contest!

Before the expansion I had a few WotLK beta keys to hand out. The question was how do I decide who gets them. The solution? Karaoke contest! I actually had nightmares for weeks after hearing Clovi's submission. The funny part is that a few of these guys rarely talk on vent. But after hearing some of them sing maybe that's a good thing!

Clovi - Beat It

Malfeist - It's My Party

Juteux - Some French Song

Eldre - Devil Without a Cause

Eldre - Judith

Eldre - Land of Confusion

Eldre - Vicarious

Angusjerky - You've Lost That Loving Feeling

Money Shots - AKA Stuff That Died

Ventrilo Clips - Audio Proof We Are Sick And Demented

Baler explains why he got arrested and ended up missing a raid because of it. Notice how supportive we are.

Gambling and blowjobs, yes they mix.

Bloodclergy has been arrested MANY times but none of them were his fault.

Clovi & Thraxus are heterosexual life partners.

Eldre is always right.

Don't we all love them?

Keylonis is into this sort of thing.

What accent?
